Dear students and colleagues,

We would like to thank you for your continuous support and interest in the BMVA Computer Vision Summer School .

Given the threat of  the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic and the health advice of the UK authorities, we have decided to cancel this year summer school. We have considered an option of organising the school as a virtual event. However, we have decided not to pursue this avenue as we believe that to a large extent the BMVA Computer Vision Summer School has owed its success and popularity to a substantial academic and social networking opportunities that can be offered only as part of the real event.

The next edition of the summer school has also been scheduled to take place in Norwich. We hope that by summer 2021 we will reach a level of normality which will allow us to organise a safe and successful event.

We wish you all the best in these difficult and unprecedented times.
